We rented a car from Katris Cars for our 10 day stay in Milos and I must say that you can not get better service than from the people at Katris. Panos and his brother went over and above the norm. They picked us up from the airport and drove us to our stay in the Plaka, even though we did not yet rent the car from them. Two days later they delivered the car to our Studio in the Plaka. Days later we took the car ferry to the small island of Kimolos. When we wanted to return to Milos Island 2 days later, bad weather cancelled the car ferry. My wife and I were able to hire a boat taxi to take us over to Milos Island, but our car stayed in Kimolos. With 2 hours notice Katris actually arranged to meet us at the port, with a replacement car ! Two days later when the ferry was able to cross, Panos arranged to for our car to be brought over and himself then picked up the car from the port. Despite all the extra running around and extra service, we never had any complaints from Katris, they never hesitated to accommodate us and they did not charge us a penny more. GREAT SERVICE If you are looking for a brand new car, then I suggest you DO NOT rent from Katris Cars.....but that is actually an advantage. Most of the car rental companies on Milos go out of there way to look for scratches and scuffs on the cars when returned so that they can charge you extra. As there are many not so good dirt roads in Milos and Kimolos, keeping the car spotless is very challenging. Therefore, having a late model car allows stress free driving with no worries of extra costs for small scratches or scuffs. Let me assure you that Katris cars are perfect mechanically, with great tires, good brakes and efficient air conditioning. Great clean cars, excellent pricing, and super service......I would not hesitate to use Katris Cars again.
